Subway-no tip. Togo's-maybe you'll get a tip if you give me more meat and avocado. On the rare occasion when I pay with cash and have some loose change then I'll drop it in the jar but that's usually because I'm too lazy to put my change in my wallet.

DD is not a serving type restaurant. I can't imagine that they make less than minimum wage. Why would the drive up workers expect tips and not the rest? From my understanding, most places don't have specific drive up people, they train people to work the drive up when needed.

Why is the world would they deserve a tip? Now, nope. They also had ugly-ass uniforms back then on Long Island -- I think it was But if I am ordering a product and you make it for me and I get in line and am not served at a table why the tip jar?

Am I supposed to feel guilty. Just gets me all pissed of. I am sure as hell not made of money but tip for what I consider service. I work there and the workers share the tips.

The owner's are not allowed to take tips. If they do they are wrong!!! It's not mandatory that you tip but it is appreciated. If your husband chooses to tip so what?
