Recommended Posts. Posted December 2, Posted December 3, Most drop zones have special effects that iDVD applies to the photos or movies that you add to them. For example, the Reflection White theme puts your imagery in a set of 3D panels that glide like a moving art gallery.
And as the following pages describe, you have more options for managing the contents of drop zones. Click to view larger image. To turn motion on or off, click the Motion button. For details on more drop zone techniques, see the following pages. Click the Media button. Then, to access photos in your iPhoto library, click the Photos button. To access movies, click Movies. In the photo or movie media browser, select the item or items you want to add. You can select multiple photos or an entire album.
If you add multiple photos to a drop zone, iDVD displays them successively as the menu is displayed. You can add up to 99 items to a drop zone. Then burn a disc and test it in your DVD player. Doesn't change anything about the imported film correct?
So if you drop in a x film and the iDVD proj info aspect ratio setting is set to , is it trying to squeeze the film itself when it plays, or is this just for the appearence of the menu? In preview, it will put horizontal bars at top and bottom if you do this, which leads me to believe the setting is only affecting the menu appearance. I dont have a widescreen tv to test on, only a standard, but if i set my DVD player to letterbox, the film does look letterbox even though i burned the dvd with set in Proj Info.

And what is the effect of checking or unchecking this box? My goal is to be able to show this x HD which is obviously and meant to be viewed that way in the most attractive and complete way possible when viewed on a television screen. Even when I set my DVD player to Letterbox, it is still cutting off some of the picture at the left and right margins.
